|
To enter the global aerospace market, the assurance of both the quality and reliability of your products and services is of paramount importance. Both aerospace regulators and industry players advocate the use of standards and conformance for quality assurance.
Certification to aerospace quality standards, such as AS 9100 and Nadcap, is increasingly becoming a qualification criterion for new suppliers to aerospace companies.
Who Should Attend?
A) Heat Treating - Process Planner
This course is primarily intended for people who are capable of selecting manufacturing processes and interpreting process procedures to conform to customer specifications and requirements. They are capable of problem solving and resolving day to day issues.
B) Heat Treating - Process Owner
This course is primarily intended for people who are capable of writing, reviewing and approving processes, procedures and qualifications of lower levels. Process Owners are capable of designing new processes and resolving issues among all the other levels.

- Resolve and avoid common problems in Heat Treatment
- Assumptions:-
- Basic metallurgical knowledge equivalent to Heat Treat level 2 course
- Planning knowledge equivalent to Heat Treat level 2 course

About the Instructor

A) Heat Treating - Process Planner
Mr Reinhold Kociorski, eQuaLearn Instructor, Performance Review Institute
An Engineer in physical technology and now an eQuaLearn instructor, Reinhold has worked as a freelance consultant auditor and instructor since 2008. Prior to this he spent eleven years as a company Managing Director. Having held a management role in the quality field, Reinhold has worked as a Nadcap Project Manager and has extensive experience in Special Processes including Heat Treating, NDT and Welding. Reinhold's other industry experience includes working as a Heat Treating supervisor and as a Materials Testing Laboratory manager. He is also a qualified AS/EN 9100 auditor and has successfully passed the IAQG audit-training for the AS/ENJISQ 9100 Rev. C standard.
B) Heat Treating - Process Owner
Dr Martin Bridge, eQuaLearn Instructor, Performance Review Institute

Martin has been a Nadcap Heat Treatment and Aerospace Quality Systems auditor since 2003 and a consultant trainer with PRI since the first courses in Europe in 2005. As well as auditing around the world, he has presented eQuaLearn courses in China, Japan, India, Singapore and throughout Europe. Martin gained his PhD in Metallurgy from Sheffield University in 1982 and became a Chartered Engineer in 1983. Since then he has worked as a metallurgist in both the USA and the UK and has had roles as Quality Manager, Quality Director and Operations Director in the automotive and aerospace industries. He became an ISO9000 Lead Assessor in 1991 and subsequent work with AS/EN9100, QS9000, TS16949 and customer specific requirements. Martin’s knowledge and expertise has been recognised a number of times, including by the American Society for Metals Marcus A Grossman Award in 1985 and by a Nadcap Mayben-Platonoff award in 2008.
