France-Singapore Aerospace Industry Dialogue & Networking
AAIS and GIFAS brought together the French and Singapore aerospace communities ahead of MRO Asia Pacific 2026. The dialogue, held at EDB, explored the APAC MRO outlook, supply chain resilience and opportunities for closer collaboration. Graced by the French ambassador, HE Stephen Marchisio, the event also provided a platform for perspective exchanges, networking and building connections.

The much-anticipated AAIS Futsal Tournament returned on 12 September 2026, bringing together members of Singapore’s aerospace community for a fun-filled day of football and camaraderie. The tournament brought together 28 teams from across the sector. Spectators and supporters cheered on their teams, reflecting the camaraderie and tight-knit community of the aerospace workforce. Congratulations to the winning teams and players!

In conjunction with the IAQG Fall Sector Meeting in Singapore, AAIS and the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) brought Singapore’s aerospace quality community together to discuss evolving standards, regulatory requirements and the growing role of AI in quality and safety management. The programme included an industry update session covering standards updates, regulatory developments and AI, as well as a networking evening.

Held on 8 Sep, AAIS’ Smart MRO seminar explored how digital technologies can deliver operational value. Presentations covered a Smart MRO roadmap and real-world applications in precision measurement, while an industry panel examined practical considerations around infrastructure and workforce adoption. Participants also experienced live technology demos at the Mitutoyo showroom and networked with peers.

AAIS facilitated a visit by a delegation senior Japanese aerospace and industry leaders to Singapore, co-organised with SJAC and METI. Held from 3 to 4 Sept, the programme included an industry ecosystem at AAIS, an industry dialogue and networking session at EDB, and visits to Rolls-Royce Singapore and ST Engineering. The visit provided opportunities for industry leaders from both countries to exchange insights, strengthen connections and explore potential collaboration.

Heald on 28 August, the Aerospace Partners Golf Tournament (APGT) 2026 brought the aerospace community together for a day of golf, camaraderie and giving back in support of Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS). From a day of friendly competition on the course to an evening of celebration, community and giving back, the event featured a bagpipe brigade, an art auction, an exciting Raffle draw and plenty of memorable moments.
