The primary objective for organisations to manage their inventories is to determine/control stock levels within the physical distribution function, to balance the need for product availability against the need for minimising stock holding and handling costs.

This course will provide participants with a broader knowledge of inventory management, and how organisations seeking to acquire and maintain an assortment of stocks while ordering, shipping and handling, should keep all related costs in check.
