Quality & Standards
The Singapore Aerospace Quality Group (SAQG), with its core members made up of Quality Professionals from the Aviation, Space, and Defense (ASD) industries in Singapore was formalized in 2016 under the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore).
SAQG aims to improve quality and cost-saving within the ASD industries, through activities such as the establishment of standards and certification scheme for quality management systems.
SAQG is led by a sub-committee with Mr. Jeffrey Ho (Rolls-Royce Singapore) as the Chairman.
GOALS
1) To contribute in the development of IAQG 91XX standards
2) To support and promote the adoption of IAQG 91XX standards in Singapore
Activities
SAQG participates in and supports activities of the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) and the Asia Pacific Aerospace Quality Group (APAQG).
SAQG also holds regular events to share knowledge and experience.

Cybersecurity (EASA Part-IS) Workshop
AAIS was delighted to partner with EASA to bring the aerospace community a full-day Cybersecurity (EASA Part-IS) Workshop in Singapore. Held on 10 April 2026 at Republic Polytechnic, the workshop drew over 160 industry professionals seeking to strengthen cyber resilience amid an evolving landscape. The workshop offered valuable guidance to enhance cybersecurity readiness, regulatory compliance, and long-term operational resilience.

EASA Regulatory Updates Session 2025
In conjunction with World Quality Week, AAIS convened a seminar for aerospace quality leaders on 14 Nov, drawing ~150 participants for an afternoon of updates and exchanges. The programme featured EASA experts covering developments within the organisation, observations from audits of local Part-145 organisations, and implementing Part-IS. A panel with industry speakers saw robust discussions on best practices for quality management.

Webinar: Preview of Upcoming IAQG Standards Updates
The Singapore Aerospace Quality Group hosted a webinar on 29 Aug led by IAQG writing team member Mr Jeffrey Ho. Over 50 participants gained an early look at upcoming IAQG standards updates, including the new “IA” prefix, revisions to IA 9100, and the development of IA 9150 as a digital-ready, certifiable standard.
